It is with great sadness that we have to report that Dan Docherty passed away on 9th December 2021. His memory lives on through this website, his articles, videos, podcasts and in the hearts, minds and teaching of his many students and friends throughout the world.

If you are looking for a teacher in this style, then please visit “Where to Learn” “Instructor Listings” page as although this is not being kept up to date it will provide contact details for a number of his main students.

The PTCCI practitioners Facebook page is useful should you have questions.

FOR REAL

Posted by: Dan

ust thinkin OK corral time . I be Doc H with the Earp Bros. I like the Earps but like Doc Holliday did, I only agree to be deputised at the very end. Wyatt is Sheriff Sin, my old Chinese best pal. I was best man at his wedding. Morgan Earp is Dave Sweeny, my ex Mountie Canadian pal {that is RCMP to non=cop dudes], As Virgil Earp, my dead brother. Inspector Charles Docherty, bravest man I ever knew. Fortunately I was able to tell him how I felt about him a few days before he died. He said, 'Coming from you that means a lot.' I meant it.
Charlie would have played it by the book [police nickname Mr Persil]. Sheriff would have effortlessly wasted someone without getting a hair out of place and picked up his widow after collecting his winnings. Dave would have gunned down his cowboy after a 20 minute bareback chase. [sorry pal all the saddles are out] and then stripped him of all ID. Charlie would only talk after making a 25 page notebook entry and then just to say, 'Sign here'.
And me, Doc H? Sorry pal, I don't remember. Sic transit gloria mundi. Point is them cowboys never had a chance. Thank God International Women's year is over for another year.
Errh Sheriff, is it ok to hold 5 aces?
